First of all we would like to thank everybody for the kind words and for making us feel like very welcome members of the B9 family, its been very much appreciated and it has meant a lot. Its been a long time since we put out a full length record and to be honest, there are a lot of reasons for that. Family, other musical projects and just a general need for a break all contributed, but the honest to goodness main reason it took so long (7 years), is that we didn't feel like we were ready to make the best record we possibly could. We all drifted away and lived our lives for while and waited until we felt 100% that we had that record inside us.

We waited until we felt like a new band again, excited, hungry, and free to make a record not because it was time in the touring cycle or in the grand scheme of our "career", and not because of label pressure but because we felt we had a great record inside of us. Its been a long process and so many people have helped us along the way..all the folks at Bridge 9, Chadball, Paul Miner and most importantly, the people who like our band (and sometimes even those who don't) which, seeing as you clicked on this thread, is probably you...so thanks!! Anyways, the record is due to drop on May 27th and we're definitely not a band known for our patience so we figured what the fuck and decided to put the whole thing on line for you to listen to for yourselves. Its going up on AOL as a stream on May 20th, thats a full week before the album comes out and for those going to the record release shows, I would definitely give it a listen or 2. We so fucking proud of this record and it really is from our hearts to your ears and we hope that you like it. If not, we have a great shirt that says "I only like their first album" and we suggest you pick one up.

May 05 | 7yrs Later?
After the last tour of the GO cycle we all wanted to take a break (we were burnt) and towards the end of that tour i found out my wife was pregnant. Moon and i wanted to leave NYC and start a new life and family in California (no winter and more space)so we did (Adam moved to LA also) I became a dad and my life changed forever (in the best way). And then coming off tour (fantasy) for 10yrs and becoming domestic (reality) and working is a big change (in the worst way hahah).

Todd was already living in SF area and moved to LA and ended up playing with Juliette and the Licks, Rustys Pnut jewelry took off and shorty after Adam moved back to NYC and became a Muay Thai trainer. TF became a Simpson. Me and my friends (Chad, Freddy, Hoya, Mackie and Dave) started Hazen Street.

H20 being bi-coastal it was very hard to get together to work on music together,but we did here and there when we would play random shows etc.

Anyway here we are now 2008 and Nothing to Prove coming out in a couple weeks,im just as shocked as you are. We are proud of this album and stand behind it 100% and all the non believers, haters and naysayers will stand behind it too once they hear it! We appreciate all the support and people asking and telling us to make a new album over the past 7 years and people still getting H20 tats like crazy it means alot to us. This album was def are most personal one and we also wanted to make it for the H20MEYS (you).
